Hello, friends!
I’m Kayla Oudthone, a visual storyteller based right here in Dallas, Texas. Over the past seven-plus years behind the lens, I’ve dedicated myself to perfecting both photo and film, earning features in publications like Dallas Voyager, Canvas Rebel, and Unscripted, as well as recognition from Sony as an Alpha Female creator.
What truly drives my work is the genuine connection built with every single client. From intimate weddings and family milestones to collaborations with brands like The Nasher Sculpture Center, The Dallas Arts District, Airport Dimensions, Collinson, HydraFacial, Boys & Girls Club, and the USWNT, my focus is always on making your experience feel effortless, intentional, and comfortable.
In addition to shooting on location, I own OP Studio at Expo Park in Dallas. It is a dedicated, versatile creative space designed for custom photo shoots, video productions, and elevated brand concepts.
A Little More About My Journey
I am a first-generation American on my father’s side. My family immigrated from Thailand, and after traveling across the country with the Air Force, we settled in Jacksonville, Arkansas, home to Little Rock Air Force Base.
Art has been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I fell in love with drawing, earning top state awards and an art scholarship to the University of Central Arkansas. That early foundation shaped my eye for detail, emotion, and visual storytelling.
I also grew up in an entrepreneurial family! We owned a Muay Thai gym, which is where my drive and passion for building something of my own took root. Following that creative spark, I took a leap into photography and videography, ultimately growing a thriving business in Dallas. Opening my studio confirmed that this is exactly where I am meant to be. Over the years, I’ve built not just a business, but lasting relationships with my community and clients. I truly love what I do!
